134.204 Functional Imaging Technology and Devices (VO, Hirtl)

Examination is a 30-minute oral exam. He will give you 4 questions, mostly regarding the principle of how something works, and you can use the whiteboard to help explain your answer. Do not feel intimidated as he will be helping you answer if you do not know the answer. He usually does this by giving smaller/easier questions for you to answer. The exam can go very quickly once he sees that you know what you are talking about so try to speak as confidently as possible. For each question you are evaluated as positive, “good enough“, negative. You will immediately know you grade and he will submit the certificate within the day. Just for reference, I got 2 positives and 2 „good enough“ which gave me a final grade of 2. My friend got 4 positives and received a 1.

Before the exam, the professor gave a list of possible exam questions. All the questions asked to me and my friend all came from here. I would say it is enough to study the slides and try answering these sample questions in your own words.
